Gold
Gold follows a young actor named Dean Douglas Cooper, who moves to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of making it big. When things don't work out Dean finds himself in an unusual situation dressed in a gold suit and busking on Hollywood Boulevard to make ends meet.

Gold was created with a small crew consisting of only Luca Pizzoleo and a sound mixer. The opening sequence was constructed in Luca's garage, where he and lead actor Raz Fritz hand-built the dressing room set together, adding a fake wall, putting up wallpaper, and painting and aging the entire setup. In addition to writing and directing the film, Luca also took on the role of cinematographer, shooting the entire movie himself.
This film is one of Luca's earlier works. While his filmmaking style has evolved since this project, it remains a significant stepping stone in finding his voice as a filmmaker.
